Privacy Policy
Padni is operated by Adam Cieslak-Jones, a UK sole trader trading as Padni. This Privacy Policy explains how Padni collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects information when you use the Padni mobile apps, web app, and connected services (together, the "Service").
1. Information Padni processes
Account and authentication information
Padni stores information needed to create and secure your account, including your email address, a protected password representation, session information, and security events.
Content you provide
This includes messages, tasks, projects, checklists, workflows, reminders, preferences, and other information you choose to give Padni. Padni may derive structured information and personalisation notes from this content so it can provide the features you request.
Connected-service information
If you choose to connect a calendar or email provider, Padni processes the account identifiers, authorisation tokens, event or message information, and actions needed to provide that integration. Connections are optional and can be disconnected from Settings.
Device, usage, and diagnostic information
Padni processes device push-notification tokens, app activity, request timing, service logs, crash or error information, and security signals needed to deliver notifications, maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and understand whether core features are working.
Subscription and payment information
When paid access is available, Padni processes subscription status, purchase source, product and price identifiers, billing periods, trial and promotion usage, referral attribution, provider customer or transaction references, and billing-support events. Payment providers process card, bank, wallet, and store-payment credentials; Padni does not receive or store complete card or wallet credentials.
2. How information is used
- Provide conversations, tasks, projects, reminders, workflows, games, and connected-service features.
- Carry out actions you request, such as creating a calendar event or sorting an email.
- Personalise responses and choose useful times and wording for reminders.
- Synchronise data across your devices and recover safely from offline use.
- Administer trials, subscriptions, promotions, referrals, purchase restoration, payment recovery, and customer support.
- Secure accounts, investigate errors, prevent abuse, and improve service reliability.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce the Terms of Service.
3. Google user data
When you connect Google Calendar, Padni may read calendar lists, event details, attendees, dates, times, and related metadata, and may create, update, or delete events when you request it. Padni uses this data to provide calendar features and calendar-aware assistance.
Padni does not sell Google user data, use it for targeted advertising, or allow humans to read it except where you have given permission, it is necessary for security or support, or the law requires it. Padni's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
4. Service providers and sharing
Padni shares information only where needed to operate the Service, follow your instructions, protect users, or comply with law. Depending on the features you use, recipients can include:
- AI model providers that process relevant prompt and context data to generate responses or classifications.
- Google and Microsoft when you connect their calendar or email services.
- Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging for notifications.
- Stripe, Apple, or Google when you start, manage, restore, refund, or dispute a subscription through that provider.
- Hosting, networking, security, logging, and web-search providers used to run requested features.
Padni does not sell personal information and does not operate an advertising network.
5. Storage, retention, and deletion
Account information and user-created content are retained while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. To reduce cost and unnecessary retention, Padni may suspend automated features after extended inactivity and may delete an account under the normal inactivity policy after 365 days of inactivity, subject to warnings, operational configuration, and legal requirements.
If you report an assistant response, Padni stores the response's internal reference, your selected reason, any short context you choose to add, its review status, timestamps, and a protected copy of only that reported assistant response so an authorised support or safety reviewer can assess it even after routine conversation cleanup. The report does not copy your prompt, email address, or surrounding conversation. Reviewed, resolved, and dismissed reports and their response copy are removed after 90 days, every report is removed after 365 days, and deleting your account removes your reports from the active Service.
An unverified account may become eligible for deletion after at least 90 days of inactivity. Padni sends a warning before deletion and allows a further 30-day grace period.
Ending a trial or subscription does not itself delete your Padni data. Billing and entitlement records may be retained for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, audit, and legal obligations even after paid access ends or an account is deleted.
You can delete your account from Settings in the iOS, Android, or web app. Deleting a Padni account does not cancel a subscription managed by Stripe, the App Store, or Google Play; cancel it with that purchase provider first if you do not want future renewals. Account deletion removes user-scoped data from the active Service and invalidates active sessions. Limited security records, operational logs, or backups may remain temporarily where needed for fraud prevention, reliability, legal compliance, or disaster recovery, and are removed or overwritten under their normal retention schedules.
6. Security
Padni uses safeguards including encrypted transport, scoped account access, protected credentials, encrypted connected-service tokens, least-privilege service boundaries, and monitoring. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
You can disconnect integrations, change notification permissions, review or amend information through Padni, manage the relevant subscription through its purchase provider, and delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or erase personal information.
8. Children
Padni is not directed to children under 13, or below the minimum digital-consent age that applies where they live. Padni does not knowingly collect information from children who cannot lawfully consent to the Service.
9. International processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Padni seeks to use appropriate contractual, technical, and organisational safeguards where required.
10. Changes and contact
This policy may change as Padni develops. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or this page, and the date above will be updated. Privacy questions and requests can be raised through the Support page or by emailing accounts@padni.ai.
